How much of a Scholar is Masoumi Tehrani ?

What contribution he has done to Islam, who are his students, what books he has written, which Islamic Magazine or channel has published his Islamic views still remains a mystery.

Some points to ponder :

He is in Iran and he says he knows nothing of Bahaism before he was visited by some Baha'i gentlemen. He has lied. Proofs - please see here.

He says if his physical condition allowed him to turn the whole Baha'i book into calligraphy, he would have done so. Even if he is really an ordinary Iranian scholar, he must be aware of the bloody conflict that was created by Bab and Baha'u'llah and their followers in Iran some 150 years ago. They were responsible for the killing of thousands of Iranians. Proofs - please see here.

Further he says,

"To believe in a religion is not to deny the human rights of people who believe in other religions". So he strongly believes in Human Rights of Baha'is. According to Baha'is themselves there are some 300 thousand Baha'is in Iran but some 300 (i am not sure of exact figure) are in prisons for various reasons. Major being distribution of Baha'i literature, luring innocent youth through young girls to become Baha'i, gathering at public places and indulging in vulgar activities, deceiving children and their parents in the name of Children Moral Classes, making classified documents open to enemy states, forming illegal groups, being part of banned organizations. There are many more reasons. Most of the proofs are available here. 

These Baha'is are already enjoying their life in Iranian Prison. He should speak more about the Human Rights of Palestinians who are spending their lives in Israel Prisons just for being a Palestinian. He is silent on this issue like his Baha'i friends.

Further he says :

He does not believe Apostates and Covenant Breakers to be unclean. He says this is a personal edict of some Shiite Scholars and has no basis in Islamic jurisprudence.

Someone should please give him open access to all the books of Bab and Baha'u'llah so he may understand what Muslims are doing with Baha'is is very reasonable and full of Justice and Mercy. If (God Forbid) they were at our place, they would have done much worse. Like what they have done in the past when they had little power for some time. This Ayatollah is totally ignorant of Babi history. Also someone should make him read the Articles of Juan Cole and Frederick Glaysher (Both Ex-Baha'is) on SHUNDAMENTALISM in the Baha'i faith.

He speaks further about Temporary Marriage in Shiite Islam although he personally does not believe in it. He also believes in Masturbation to be lawful and Hejab to be decided by women,  Music to be lawful and discourages Taqleed. He has many weird beliefs that are totally against Shiite Islam. 

He speaks about Ayatollah Montazeri without being aware how Baha'is played with this issue by misquoting him and when the issue was exposed by prominent Azali scholar, Wahid Azal, they immediately stopped propagating it. See this blog about the Fatwa of Ayatollah Montazeri. Baha'is have always taken benefit from innocent Muslim scholars who are unaware of Babi-Baha'i history and their beliefs. This in itself is a crime.

He further quotes Hossein Nasr and says that it is permissible for Muslims and the followers of other religions to cooperate and socialize,  but that it is incumbent on Muslims to uphold the principles of justice and equality. Discrimination and persecution of other religions is not acceptable. This poor fellow does not know that Baha'ism is not a religion. It is a cult that wants to establish a New World Order with its headquarters in the occupied lands. So I think, this Ayatollah needs to take some time from his calligraphy Job and read the Babi and Baha'i history, the damage caused to Iranian society and culture by these cultists and how the Imperialist countries are offering unconditional support to them.

If he is really a genuine figure and does not fear anybody as he claims in his interview with Baha'i Cultists, he should come openly, provide correct information on his website. He should change his fake Telephone Number with the correct one. ;-) Presently his phone number is : Tel. +21.123456
